Fixation stapédienne au promontoire
Résumé
Nous présentons ici les images tomodensitométriques d’un patient affecté d’une surdité de transmission de l’oreille gauche. L’examen démontre un stapes (étrier) congénitalement fixé au promontoire tandis que sa base (platine) semble en place, séparée du reste, dans la fenêtre vestibulaire (fenêtre ovale). Il s’agit d’une malformation peu fréquente, mais que l’embryologie peut expliquer.

Abstract
Here we present CT images of a patient with a conductive hearing loss in the left ear. Examination revealed a stapes congenitally attached to the promontory, while its base appears to be in place, separated from the crura, in the vestibular window (oval window). This is an uncommon malformation, but one that can be explained by embryology.
