Maurice Herlant (1887-1920) était un embryologiste belge dont la trop brève carrière se déroula à l’Université libre de Bruxelles. Elève d’Albert Brachet, il s’intéressa à la polyspermie et à la parthénogenèse expérimentale. Une mort précoce interrompit hélas une carrière fort prometteuse. Rev Med Brux 2013 ; 34 : 115-7
Abstract
Maurice Herlant (1887-1920) was a Belgian embryologist who worked at the Université libre de Bruxelles during his brief career. He was the assistant of Professor Albert Brachet and was interested by polyspermia and experimental parthenogenesis. His promising career was interrupted by an early death at 33 years of age.
