Pneumatose kystique colique au cours d’une chimiothérapie palliative pour un cancer colorectal
Pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis during palliative chemotherapy for colorectal cancer
La pneumatose kystique colique est une pathologie rare, définie par la présence de gaz dans la paroi colique. Les signes cliniques sont peu spécifiques et le diagnostic le plus souvent affirmé par le scanner abdominal. Nous rapportons un cas de pneumatose kystique colique chez un patient porteur d’un cancer colorectal en situation palliative, traité par une association de chimiothérapie incluant le 5 fluorouracile (5FU), l’oxaliplatine et l’acide folinique après une première ligne de chimiothérapie associant le 5FU, l’irinotécan, le cétuximab et l’acide folinique. L’imputabilité de la chimiothérapie associant divers cytotoxiques paraît la plus probable. Rev Med Brux 2012 ; 33 : 48-50
Pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis is a rare disease characterized by the presence of gaz into the colonic wall. Symptoms are non specific and, most of the time, the diagnosis is done by an abdominal CT scan. We report a case of pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis which occurred in a patient with a colorectal cancer in palliative stage. This patient was treated by 5 fluorouracil (5FU), folinic acid and oxaliplatin chemotherapy, after a first lign of chemotherapy with 5FU, irinotecan and cetuximab. The association of chemotherapy is most likely probable. Rev Med Brux 2012 ; 33 : 48-50
