Une présentation atypique d’un adénocarcinome bronchique
An atypic presentation of lung adenocarcinoma
A l’heure actuelle, l’adénocarcinome constitue 41 % des cancers primitifs du poumon chez les femmes et 34 % chez les hommes. Les métastases thyroïdiennes des cancers bronchiques sont rares et généralement asymptomatiques. Nous rapportons le cas particulier d’un patient se présentant au diagnostic avec un stridor lié à une volumineuse thyroïde multinodulaire accompagnée d’adénopathies cervicales. Le diagnostic final est celui d’adénocarcinome pulmonaire primitif avec métastases thyroïdiennes. Rev Med Brux 2013 ; 34 : 181-3
Currently, adenocarcinoma represents 41 % of primary lung cancers in women and 34 % in men. Thyroid metastases of lung cancer are rare and usually asymptomatic. We report the case of a patient presenting with stridor secondary to an enlarged multiple nodular thyroid accompanied by cervical lymphadenopathies accompanied by an enlarged and multiple nodular thyroid and by stridor. The final diagnosis was thyroid metastases of primary lung adenocarcinoma. Rev Med Brux 2013 ; 34 : 181-3
